Join us for family-friendly cycle sessions - improve your cycling confidence, get your bike checked, and learn a little bike mechanics!

Access Bike will host a family friendly cycling session on Archway secondary school's sports field on Thursdays August 24th and 31st, from 10.30am till 2.30pm. The sessions are part of Big Bike Revival events which will be taking place around the country - funded by We Are Cycling UK.

We will be:
-
Providing basic safety checks and fixing minor problems on bikes
-
Teaching equipment safety and maintenance skills
-
Teaching beginners how to cycle
-
Teaching cycle skills to people who can cycle but do not feel confident (you might be returning to cycling after some time, for example)

We'll also be talking to people about barriers to cycling they face and offering advice on how to overcome them.

The Archway School sports field features a gentle slope on short grass, and there's also a small area of tarmac we can use - both are perfect for practicing cycling on. We'll set up short courses kids and adults can use to build their confidence and have fun.

The Archway School sports field is located at GL5 4AX, Paganhill. The site is accessible from Stratford Road, there is a car park as part of the school grounds.
